I am a Financial Mathematics graduate student at the University of Chicago, expected to graduate in December 2025. I hold a bachelor\'s degree from the University of Waterloo, where I double-majored in Financial Risk and Statistics, building a strong foundation in mathematics and financial modeling. My experience includes developing downside-risk mitigation metrics at Low Tide Capital Management, building a LASSO regression model for mortgage default forecasting at MCAP, and conducting FX risk hedging analysis at Timbercreek Capital. These roles have enhanced my ability to apply advanced quantitative strategies to solve real-world financial challenges. Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and Power BI, I take a data-driven approach to problem-solving, with a focus on portfolio management, trading strategies, and financial risk analysis. I am also pursuing the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification to deepen my expertise in risk management. I am passionate about leveraging my technical skills and knowledge of quantitative finance to drive innovation in the financial industry. Currently, I am actively seeking summer 2025 internship opportunities in quantitative associates.
