ABOUT MARSHAL ARNWINE

Marshal Arnwine Jr is a disciple of Jesus Christ, business owner of the Arnwine Winners Foundation, legal scholar, author, and public speaker.Marshal is the founder and CEO of Arnwine Winners Foundation (AWF), a law school admissions consulting company where he coaches clients how to win in applying to law school, succeeding during law school, and how to position themselves to potentially obtain a six-figure career after graduation.Separate and independent of AWF, Marshal is a lobbyist and serves as a Legislative Advocate on the Government Affairs team for the ACLU California Action. As a Legislative Advocate, Marshal is astute in pursuing social justice, defending the oppressed, and correcting the oppressor.Prior to joining the ACLU California Action, he served for five years at the ACLU of Northern California affiliate organization as the Legal Policy Advocate for the Criminal Justice Program. In this role he was a subject matter expert in police accountability that analyzed legislation, lobbied elected officials, wrote advocacy letters, and provided consultation to local and statewide policy makers.As a result of his advocacy Marshal has been featured in the University of San Francisco Lawyer Magazine Fall 2021 Issue, which highlighted his legislative and policy advocacy, and his passion to seek justice to address inequality and racism within the criminal legal system. Marshal is a legal scholar and author that demonstrates a strong command of legal research, writing, and analytical skills, exhibited by his article being published by the University of San Francisco Law Review, which is titled, “Trauma and Learning: Creating a Culture of Educational Access for Inner City Communities.”He earned his Juris Doctor law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He earned his Bachelor\'s degree in Sociology, and a minor in Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz while competing as a student athlete on the Men\'s Basketball Team where he was awarded the Most Inspirational Athlete of the year award for the 20••••15 season.Views are my own and do not represent my employer.
