About Marsha E.
20+ years of leadership experience in external affairs, customer service, and business development has honed my ability to connect with people and advocate for safe, reliable solutions. In 2024, I embarked on an exciting second act career at Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory, where I support the construction of the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility and the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment in Lead, South Dakota. Under the direction of Fermilab and the US Department of Energy, the project is driven by a consortium of state and global partners transforming a decommissioned gold mine into the worldβs largest underground science laboratory. I have the interpersonal skills needed to make connections in complex, high-stakes environments. My transition from the utility industry to scientific research speaks to my strong adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges. I value the leadership and communication expertise I gained from years of customer service and public relations work at Black Hills Energy as it translates to the global scientific community, especially in managing external relationships and executing organizational goals. My cross-industry experiences help me bring together technical experts and non-technical stakeholders, which is crucial in advancing LBNF/DUNE. Visit https://lbnf-dune.fnal.gov
