Responsible for the design, leadership, and implementation of translational strategies across Pyxis Oncology\'s research and development programs including evaluation of PYX-201, a novel antibody-drug-conjugate (ADC) targeting extra domain B of fibronectin, and PYX-106, a monoclonal antibody targeting Siglec-15, in two Phase 1 clinical trials in solid tumors. Play a key role in managing vendors to ensure timely execution of assays and delivery of results. Establish key opinion leader relationships to inform translational medicine strategies. Work to bridge research, preclinical and early clinical phases of drug development by serving as a department representative on a Program Development Team to advise executive leadership on strategic activities and manage cross-functional meetings within the Research Department to improve the overall success and speed of portfolio assets through the drug development process. Built a team of strong scientists to effectively execute the translational medicine strategy within a fiscally responsible budget to generate meaningful data to aid in biomarker identification for patient selection, determine pharmacodynamic biomarkers of response and further the understanding of clinical candidate’s mechanism of action.
