ABOUT MARSHA BAUM
My educational teaching experience developed when I managed a printing department and trained employees to operate machines and oversaw their tasks. This grew my passion for learning and I decided to pursue a career as a teacher. I have over 15 years experience as a educator of English to students of various age groups and ethnic backgrounds, wherein, I have applied various learning methodologies (i.e, pedagogy, androgogy and heutagogy) to improve the learning experience. In addition, in my current role, I have undertaken various projects for the Abu Dhabi Vocational Training Institute, a reputed government owned institute of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (\"ADVETI\"), including, but not limited to developing:(a) learning modules;(b) assessments and the scoring mechanism (i.e, rubrics); and (c) project guidelines. These projects resulted in an incremental increase in student satisfaction and performance in assessments at ADVETI. The aforesaid projects also improved efficiency and effectiveness of teachers with respect to delivery of their respective learning modules at ADVETI.
