About Marselo Marulanda
As a graduate of Universidad de Medellín, where I had the opportunity to be an academic tutor for three years and later an adjunct professor, I developed a strong passion for university teaching in structural engineering. This experience allowed me to share knowledge and guide students in subjects related to structural design and analysis, strengthening my ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.Additionally, with four years of experience in seismic design consulting in Colombia, I have worked closely with structural designers across the country. My role as a structural design reviewer has allowed me to assess reinforced concrete buildings, identify areas for improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance to guarantee structural safety.In my review process, I prioritize open and constructive communication with designers, fostering a collaborative work environment where different perspectives are valued. My approach seeks to balance each designer’s creativity and experience with the technical rigor required to achieve safe and efficient structural solutions.My goal is to continue applying my knowledge and experience in structural design, contributing to the improvement and optimization of buildings with a strong technical foundation and a comprehensive vision of the structural process.
