ABOUT MARQUISHA GRIFFIN

I\'m a results-oriented public sector executive with over two decades of experience spanning public housing and local, state, and federal government. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Cullman Housing Authority, she leads with strategic foresight, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to public service, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning policy with community needs.With the past 12 years dedicated to public housing and a broader background in government administration which spans, local, state, and federal government, I bring well-rounded expertise in leadership development, financial stewardship, interagency collaboration, strategic planning, and constituent engagement, all foundational competencies for senior level management. I have successfully navigated politically complex environments, led organizational modernization efforts, and built trust among diverse stakeholders, including elected officials, board members, and community partners.I\'m known for my ability to lead through change, improve operations, and uplift team morale, I\'m especially passionate about equity, accountability, and driving outcomes that strengthen communities. My experience uniquely positions me to thrive in management roles where strong leadership, transparency, and service delivery are critical.I hold a B.A. in Public Administration from Arizona State University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Keller Graduate School of Management. I’m currently pursuing my Executive MBA at Howard University to further sharpen my leadership and impact in public service.
