Consult Jefferson County AL on their $127m Federal grant award, working on the full grant life cycle: eligibility, application, contracting, subrecipient monitoring, financial compliance, Department of Treasury reporting, and closeout, overseeing $20m+ in funding across fifteen subrecipients and four distinct programs• Work on a dynamic team of experienced policy and program design specialists, data analysts, and highly engaged clients to meet fast-paced project requirements, providing technical assistance as a daily occurrence • Provide consultation to internal and external stakeholders and clients on public policy concerns by publishing original content on new and existing funding opportunities with analyses of related eligibility considerations • Work with various levels of the American Government to maximize Federal assistance programs designed to mitigate the overlapping and long-term impacts of COVID-19 from public health and economic standpoints• Prepare a variety of objective, analytical studies and descriptive background reports, memoranda and other written materials on subjects or public policy issues related to emergency management and public finance
