I serve as an independent board director and trusted advisor to global enterprises navigating growth, risk, and strategic inflection points.Across nearly three decades in healthcare, technology, and international advisory leadership, I have operated at the intersection of governance, capital, and complex execution — building and scaling organizations, raising capital, structuring boards, and guiding enterprises through moments that test resilience and judgment.Most recently, I led a biotechnology startup advancing more accurate and affordable early cancer detection. That work was deeply personal. After losing my first wife and other loved ones to cancer, I committed a significant part of my life to strengthening the institutions, science, and governance frameworks required to change outcomes.I was elected to the national board of the American Cancer Society in late 2017 and have served in multiple national leadership roles, including as Board Chair, helping steward one of the country’s most consequential health organizations through strategic and governance transformation.Earlier in my career, I was recruited by former FBI Director Louis Freeh to help build and lead a global risk management and advisory firm from inception. As President, I advised multinational corporations and government leaders worldwide on enterprise risk, compliance, anti-corruption matters, investigations, and complex international operations.Beyond my corporate board service across the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia, I serve by presidential appointment on the United States Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, contributing to federal advisory efforts focused on cultural preservation and international stewardship.My governance work spans enterprise risk oversight, cybersecurity governance, capital strategy, global expansion, and emerging technology stewardship. I have been an NACD Board Leadership Fellow since 2014 and earned the CERT Cybersecurity Oversight Certificate in 2017, reinforcing my focus on modern governance and risk oversight.Today, I focus on board service, senior advisory engagements, and select leadership roles where science, governance, and disciplined execution intersect.
