Operation & Maintenance: responsible for operation and maintenance of backbone optical network (SDH/OTN/DWDM) and Submarine network consisting of OSN 6800/OSN8800, OSN 1800, BWS 1600S, SDH OSN 3500/7500, Microwave RTN 900/300• Network KPIs Analysis: network analysis for key performance indicators of transmission network including optical power degradation, optical power equilibrium, OSNR Degradation, Bit Error Ratios, optical amplifiers gains. • Preventive Maintenance: Lead the Preventive maintenance for overall transmission network including alarms analysis & network routine check. Review all the Precautions & Rectification issued by R&D, and implement the precautions and reconstructions related to the network • Incident Handling: Handle all the Critical and Major incidents to recover the service & publish root cause analysis report • Network Health Check & Audit: Quarterly network health check using the network inspection tools & comprehensive network evaluation of network architecture, capacity utilization, Resource Utilization, Network Reliability & O&M efficiency using the audit tools • Capacity Utilization Track OMS Wavelength Utilization, OCH Resource Utilization, ODU Traffic Utilization, and propose optimization • Key Events Assurance for national events and festivals • Network Changes Evaluation: Evaluate all the network changes for new integration, expansion, optimization and service migration. Highlight the hidden risks and precautionary measure to avoid the issues during & after the network change.• Spare Parts & Inventory Management: Prepare board level statistics of equipment inventory according the different regional warehouses & ensure the safety stock level (SSL) of all the spare parts. Propose Optimization schemes for traffic protection in case of single point of failure• Issues & Risk Tracking: Track the known issue & risk in the network & follow up with customer, engineering and solution team to rectify the risk.
