ABOUT MATTHEW MARON

Matthew Maron is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Miami, and is a researcher within the Microstructure and Mechanics Laboratory (MiaMe). He is currently working at Los Alamos National Laboratory as part of a Department of Energy fellowship. His research focuses on the plasticity of metals under extreme conditions, specifically exploring materials used for turbine blades and in nuclear reactors. Within the MiaMe lab, he conducts in-situ experiments and computational modeling of materials at the micro and nano scales.
