I love thinking about what makes teams tick—especially how to foster supportive, enriching cultures on teams. As a recruiter in the tech industry, I combine this passion and my background in scientific research to connect mission-driven teams with top-quality talent.While technical roles are my sweet spot, throughout my career I’ve sourced, interviewed, and closed roles ranging from software engineers to agricultural scientists to electrochemists to clinical project managers and beyond. Most often, I have done so with limited resources and rapid ramp up time. I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty as a one-stop shop for full-cycle recruiting, process-building, sourcing, and coordinating.Currently, I hire for the Engineering and Integration teams at Smarter Technologies, a health tech/AI company. My journey at Smarter Technologies began in 2023 when I joined SmarterDx, a Series B startup with 28 employees and a valuation of $70million. I was SmarterDx\'s first recruiter and single-handedly built their recruitment function from scratch. Less than two years later, SmarterDx\'s headcount was over 200 and the company was acquired by New Mountain Capital at a valuation of over $1billion. Today, SmarterDx is part of Smarter Technologies, which consists of over 900 employees and is valued at $X billion.When I\'m not connecting diverse talent to best-in-class teams, I am a competitive distance runner chasing personal records in the half marathon, and marathon.
