Manages strategic engagements, and coordinates organizational change management activities across HHS programs to ensure consistency and knowledge exchange. Works extensively with senior leadership, as a principal business and organizational strategist, focusing on the modernization of the health care industry. Currently leading the critical thinking task, From Coverage to Care: Connecting the Newly Insured to the Health Care System, with the goal being to understand and address the key barriers of specific populations for seeking care, the perceptions and past experiences of the newly insured and the perspectives of providers, community organizations and policy makers that are impacted. In addition to working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) programs, also supported many other key engagements, leading the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) transformation to an enterprise common data platform, conducting facilitation sessions and assessments for the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the US Census Bureau (Census).
