Leader in Public Service with over 30 years of Law Enforcement and Critical Management Experience.I am a native Detroiter who has had the pleasure of having my extensive law enforcement career expand across various positions with the Detroit Police Department, including eight years within an executive manager capacity. Most currently, I serve as Deputy Chief overseeing the department\'s Major Crimes and Organized Crime divisions. Throughout my tenure as a ranking member in the department, I have led several divisions including but not limited to Internal Affairs, Disciplinary Administration, Homicide, Federal Task Forces, Auto Theft, Arson, Narcotics, Special Victims Unit, Vice and Cyber Crimes.At the executive management level, I have been responsible for balancing multi-million dollar budgets and overseeing the daily operations of multiple high-profile commands, including the supervision and leadership of over 500+ police officers and civilian employees at a given time. Throughout my tenure, I have obtained several certificates and awards related to security and investigative operations. My longstanding career in law enforcement and local government has led to me developing an extensive skill set and expertise in public safety and security both at the community and corporate level.I am currently the Director of Public Safety at Legends-Global Huntington Place Detroit where I oversee the safety and security programs of the facility to include managing security plans for major events. I also serve as a Regional Security Director for Legends Global, where I oversee safety and security programs for several venues in the Northeastern United States.
