ABOUT MARLON R. LLEWELLYN

Recruitment and Enrollment Successes -Increased enrollment for A+ Fred S. Klipsch Educators College by 30% year over year, with a retention percentage of over 90%, the highest among the universities-Established strategic partnerships that significantly improve undergraduate and graduate revenue while expanding the college\'s reach outside Marion County-Spearheaded a Teacher Cadet Program initiative for area high schools to attract and retain aspiring high school students interested in teaching to take dual credit classes and receive admission to become teachers through a supportive teacher cadre model-Launched the city\'s only Black Teacher Residency program in partnership with Educate ME Foundation to prepare Black teachers for the teaching profession. Professional Bio Marlon Llewelyn is a highly respected educational leader with a history of leading successful teams, while challenging the status quo to improve student outcomes. Marlon has experience driving for change in public, charter, private, turnaround, and higher education. Marlon has a track record of success, building key relationships, and furthering organizational missions. Marlon is a champion for students and driven by the belief that every person has inherent worth, not earned through wealth, power, or status, but beyond human understanding authored by God. Marlon is a proud member of Heartland Church in Fishers, Indiana. Marlon also serves as the Board Member of Allegiant Preparatory School, Board Member Evolve Inc, and Board Member of Hope Academy. Marlon is originally from Kingston, Jamaica, and has two amazing children Bryce (21) and Emersyn (16). Marlon is a graduate of Ball State University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Marian University, where he\'s currently enrolled as a doctoral student.
