As Head Coach of the Middle School Boys Basketball Team at East Ridge Middle School, I am responsible for developing student-athletes both on and off the court. My role includes leadership, mentorship & instruction focused on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.Key Responsibilities-Lead all aspects of the basketball program including planning practices, developing game strategies, and managing team logistics-Foster a positive, disciplined, and respectful team culture aligned with school values-Teach fundamental and advanced basketball skills to middle school athletes-Promote academic success, character development, and physical fitness-Collaborate with assistant coaches, athletic directors, and parents to support student-athlete needs-Organize and supervise games, tournaments, and off-season training-Emphasize sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork at all times.
