I began my career with Hobby Lobby as store Co-Manager in 2009 and during my tenure I have experienced a number of opportunities for career growth. The work over that time has been a challenging but very rewarding experience. What separates Hobby Lobby from the other retailers is the small company atmosphere. The foundation of the company is based on Christian principals and the founder firmly believes in God first, family and then career. This is affirmed by Hobby Lobby\'s commitment of closings its stores on Sundays to allow associates time for Worship and Family.Another thing that differentiates us is our promotion from within policy which allows new leaders to better understand the culture and the intricacies of fulfilling the roles they are asked to lead. All Store Managers, District Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and many other company leaders have served in the Co-Manager role at some point in their careers. Promotions are performance based therefore the opportunities for advancement are unlimited for those who seek them.Although Hobby Lobby has a small company feel, the growth opportunities within are phenomenal. Of the more than stores currently open, nearly 50% them have opened in the past 10 years. With more stores opening across the U.S, now is STILL a great time to take a look at Hobby Lobby!
