About Marlie Barhorst
As a Finance and Accounting double major with a minor in Economics, I\'m constantly exploring the intersection of strategy, innovation, and impact. I\'m part of the Data Analytics Scholars program, where I’m strengthening my skills in analysis, storytelling with data, and critical thinking.Currently serving as the Treasurer for the Class of 2028 in Student Government, I bring financial responsibility and leadership to every project I take on. I\'m also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Psi as of this last fall, where I’m building professional experience and helping to lead the next class of business leaders in order to develop a strong network. Growing up in rural Ohio and seeing the vast difference between my hometown and college town shaped my work ethic, independence, and curiosity. I’m especially interested in sustainability, ethical business practices, and global perspectives as I plan to study abroad in London and Japan to deepen that interest.
