About Marli Rowland

I am Marli Rowland, a freshman at Clemson University majoring in Communications with minors in Political Science and Legal Studies. I aspire to pursue a future career in law, with the long-term goal of becoming a District Attorney.At Clemson, I serve on the Events and Operations Staff, supporting the planning and execution of major campus events across various venues. I am also actively involved in several student organizations, including Alpha Phi, where I serve as Director of Diversity, Clemson Kappa Alpha Pi–Sigma Chapter (Pre-Law & Government Fraternity), the Howell Pre-Law Society where I serve as Director of Public Relations, Mock Trial, and Clemson Undergraduate Student Government through the Donor Relations & Service Committee and Elections Board. Additionally, I represent the College of Behavioral, Social, and Health Sciences by serving on the Student Advisory Board and as a Communication Ambassador.Prior to Clemson, I held multiple leadership roles, including Student Body Officer positions, Social Media Chair for my dance team, and Cheer Captain. These experiences strengthened my leadership, public speaking, and strategic communication skills, which I continue to apply in both academic and extracurricular settings.I am currently seeking opportunities for legal internships and professional experiences that will allow me to further develop my skills and gain exposure to the legal field.
