Overseeing large group travel for a variety of different age groups and personality dynamics.• Anticipating challenges, adapting, ability to be flexible, pivoting, and strive in chaos (always having - or finding on the fly - Plans B and C!)• Coordinating all logistics • Managing trip budgets up to in cash per project• Preparing expense reports and detailed trip reports • Directing groups - sizes from 12-42 passengers for the length of 4-9 days• Responsible for up to 3 buses at a time for a total of 75 - 100 passengers • Spending many months annually on the ground in Cuba with a rigorous work schedule of back to back tours• Working and brainstorming as a team with Cuban guide to provide a smooth journey• Assisting travelers with medical and personal emergencies • Communicating and setting tone of trip and managing expectations from first meeting • Arranging evening and extra-curricular activities that are not a part of the program. Dinners, transportation, revues and collecting fees when necessary. • Working with hotel managers and restaurant staff to make sure all special requests of guests are met• Informing the guests of future travel opportunities with the company and encouraging return travel• Exposing guests to the realities of the current situations on the island• Assisting with arriving in Cuba • Working on last minute changes after arrival – while making sure to adhere to advertised program. • Confirming all upcoming meetings on the island • Setting up P2P additional activities and interactions that are of special interest to each group when told of wishes to make sure client has his wants
