ABOUT MARLAINA AUGER

Ms. Auger is a Professional Engineer with 18 years of experience in process engineering design and project management. Her predominant practice area is in the field of remediation, providing services for the evaluation, design, construction, and operations optimization of these systems for the treatment of contaminated soil and groundwater. She has extensive experience in remediation system and process system design including process flow modeling, hydraulic calculations, heat and material balances, developing engineering design packages, and equipment sizing, specification and selection. Engineering project implementation experience includes the preparation of bid packages, cost estimates and schedules for planning, contracting, and project execution. Much of her project work has included feasibility study assessments, remedy selection and design, permitting, construction management, program development for regulatory compliance, and management of project metrics for successful attainment of project goals and schedule, and control of project costs. Through her consulting experience she has developed expertise in project management and has developed and implemented valuable project controls to effectively manage, communicate, and lead her team.Her project experience has included implementation of many technological approaches for site remediation, with an emphasis on innovative, first to field in situ technologies. These include ISCO and EISB recirculation systems, EK-enhanced systems for the even distribution of amendments in low permeability soil, STAR, and conventional remediation technologies including excavation, groundwater extraction and treatment system with performance improvements using biological enhancement, and SVE and MPE systems. Ms. Auger has managed or provided engineering design services on multiple projects throughout the United States, Canada and Germany.
