About Nascimento
Marla Nascimento, M.S.Ed, BCBA, has been providing behavioral services since 2012. Marla is the Founder and Director of Nascimento New Directions, an agency currently providing ABA services to individuals, families, communities, and professionals in Brazil, Florida and California, in English and Portuguese. Marla has worked in homes-based environments, school based settings and diverse communities. Marla has experience providing client-centered, assent based and trauma informed behavioral services and parent support. She has provided early intensive behavioral intervention, behavioral intervention for all ages, supervision and mentorship to future behavior analysts. Marla has experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, advocating for neurodiverse individuals in need of behavioral services, and building inclusive communities. Marla is passionate about doing everything in her reach to make sure all individuals in need of behavioral intervention reach their fullest potential. We were each born unique with individualized characteristics but with the same birth right to thrive in this environment we all share.
