ABOUT MARK WONG

STRATEGIC | COMPETITION | DEVELOPER | POSITIVITY | ACHIEVERI am a multimedia developer—but not your average kind. While I’m fluent in three languages (English, Chinese, and Swedish), I’ve chosen a career where I primarily communicate with machines. My professional journey has been a continuous evolution, shaped by diverse experiences across graphic design, marketing, advertising, public relations, web development, and various art forms (including glass blowing). In college, when I wasn’t sprinting down the track as a dedicated Track & Field athlete, I was expanding my knowledge to become a more well-rounded creative and technical professional. Growing up in a poverty-stricken area, instilled in me a relentless work ethic and a deep appreciation for life’s small things.Beyond my career, I’m passionate about community involvement. I serve on the Greater Omaha Chamber\'s Young Professionals Leadership Committee, which was recently honored as the 2025 Volunteers of the Year. I am also a third-year mentor for the University of Nebraska Omaha’s CBA Scholars Academy and regularly volunteer my time mentoring and assisting community members with tech-related issues. Additionally, I contribute my web development skills to various nonprofit initiatives and occasionally support the Nebraska Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.Professionals Accolades/Honors:2025 - Leadership Omaha Class 482025 - Omaha Chamber Volunteers of the Year (YP Leadership Committee)2024 - Greater Omaha Chamber Young Professionals Leadership Committee2024 - Pitch Black Runner-Up & Investor’s Choice Winner (Tippl)2024 - YP Summit Vice-Chair2023 - Omaha Magazine Article Feature
