About Mark Yarvis

I am a Principal Software Engineer at Intel, where I have worked since completing my Ph.D. at UCLA in 2001. In Intel Labs I worked on projects that included Sensor Networking, Mesh Networking, Telemedicine, Multi-Touch User Interfaces, Personalized Television, and Advanced Advertising. In Intel\'s Client Compute Group (CCG), I led a small team to develop cross-device usages, cloud computing, and computer vision technologies. I currently work in Intel\'s Network and Edge Group (NEX), developing manageability technologies for edge computing, including edge manageability, onboarding, lifecycle management, and MLops. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and endurance sports, including running and Triathlon.
