With many years experience as a Mechanical Engineering Leader, I have developed a passion for solving technical challenges involved in: Mechanical design Technical interface management Leadership of technical teams. My experience spans the following: • Flow control applications with demonstrated product designs including world class full port ball valves for harsh applications to solution of longstanding technical issues. • Oil and Gas experience with both a supermajor and major oil and gas service company, from designing drillwells in remote regions to designing state of the art downhole tools, including design and testing of the largest to date downhole liner hanger system for a major oil and gas service company. • Leveraged an International perspective in each opportunity to bring teams closer together and forge strong collaboration among geographically disparate members. 1. Director of Engineering

   Nov 2020 — Present · Memphis, TN, US

   Grew the engineering team from 29 to 40 people, enabling an increase of 50% to 66% in throughput of engineered orders.Established the range of needed procedures to define the engineering department scope of work including leading substantial progress on documentation to achieve the same.Established a new hire training curriculum for engineers composed of live instructor sessions. Classes include engineers and employees from other departments as well.Put in place controls that help ensure the proper review of structural members and systems to ensure adequate performance in application.Established a training program for professional engineers including courses in preparation for the FE and PE exams, to grow a team of licensed engineers.Supported and encouraged a culture of inclusion, support, and encouragement within the engineering department where leadership is accessible and involved to the benefit of the employee.Directed the Lead Engineers to have weekly calls with their field install leads to ensure engineering can come along side the field to help solve issues and drive a higher quality installation.
