I am currently the Co-Head of Bennett Jones’ National Real Estate Group, having practiced real estate law for over 25 years. My practice is focused on infrastructure, commercial and residential development, including urban mixed-use (residential/retail/office) projects, education and healthcare infrastructure and seniors living developments. I have extensive experience structuring co-ownership, joint venture and limited partnership relationships for real estate development projects, and I regularly act for institutional and private capital lenders financing real estate development. Since 2012, I have served on the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Institute- Pacific Region. In 2019, I was admitted to the Vancouver Chapter of the global land economics organization Lambda Alpha International and, in 2023, I was selected to be inducted as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America.
