Although I once started a long time ago as a programmer (Linux netfilter stuff), it has \"flushed\" me further and further away from the keyboard.And got \"stuck\" with topics like ESOP, finances and VCs, contracts and terms, NDAs and all what looks boring from a distance, but in reality is not at all! Because you get to experience a bunch of new things and learn a lot in the process!But in the depth of my heart I am still a network security engineer -) I like to start things small and try them, iteratively improve them and make them bigger and bigger and get people excited about them. IMHO \"things\" have to provide a benefit, be meaningful, deliver added value and also be enjoyable. Success, however you want to measure it, then comes almost by itself. And, of course, you have to talk to \"the people\": both to those who are already excited, and even more importantly to those who are not enthusiastic at the moment. Because they usually have the most important input for the next iteration!In the meantime I got a \"certain\" routine and experience in all this. As long as you have to do almost everything alone, it\'s exhausting and exciting. My favorite saying from this phase: Everyone is in Sales! With a small team, everything goes much faster and in parallel. But with very large organizations, you\'re just busy organizing the teams- sorry, not my world anymore. But my (secret) world are Scleractinia and Amphiprion.
