I lead a team that provides software development tools, customer support, technical collateral, and quality infrastructure for Synopsys Processor / Security IP / NVM products. My current technical interest is how to improve product quality under ISO9001 QMS (Quality Management System), by defect tracking and root cause analysis, Together with Thorsten Groetker, Holger Keding, and Ulrich Holtmann, I published \"The Developer\'s Guide to Debugging\" in 2008, a book on how to debug C/C++ code. Containing short examples and exercises, the book is well suited to accompany a computer science course or lecture. At the same time it can be used as a practical reference guide for finding bugs.
