ABOUT MARKUS SCHNEIDER
I have now been working in the Bundeswehr for over 38 years, mainly in the areas of logistics or military policy. In the area of logistics, I worked as a company and battalion commander, lecturer and department head at brigade and division level. In the area of military policy, I have experience at ministerial level, worked on EU issues at the German Military Representation in Brussels and spent 4 years at the GCSP in Geneva/CHE as a Senior Defense Advisor and course leader. I studied in Munich (business administration, economics) and Haifa (political science) and have operational experience (KFOR/KOS and OIR/IRQ). Working since April 2024 at the GCMC, I am currently serving as the German SNR and Deputy Dean for Outreach.
