ABOUT MARKUS SCHINLE

With more than 15 years of experience in research, development and teaching in the field of digital technologies, I am a passionate and innovative expert in the application of distributed ledger technology, artificial intelligence, mobile computing and software engineering in information systems with a focus on Digital Health. I hold a PhD in Information Systems Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and several certificates in project management and software engineering.As Senior Expert Digital Health at FZI Research Center for Information Technology, I managed, implemented and acquired projects in the field of digital health. I was also the co-founder of a start-up that developed health technologies for secondary prevention in dementia and worked as a lecturer at various universities, where I shared my knowledge and experience with students and colleagues. My goal is to promote and shape the digital transformation in healthcare by developing innovative solutions that improve people\'s quality of life and care.I am continuing this path as a Professor for Digital Health Applications at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences.
