ABOUT MARKUS GAEBELE

Markus Gaebele is an accomplished professional with over 24 years of experience at Siemens and now Innomotics, where he currently holds the role of Sales and Marketing Manager for the Industrial Cable business leading a team of three external sales staff. Markus has a proven track record of managing several large projects, including major cable design and supply for the decarbonisation program in the Pilbara, service and upgrades to HMAS Canberra, Adelaide, and Choules, the development and implementation of a business case to relocate a mechanical workshop to Rockhampton, as well as commercially managing power station upgrades, maintenance contracts, and handling contractual claims. He has also demonstrated strong leadership qualities by managing a large group of field service staff, including full hourly rate calculations and the management and monitoring of utilisation. Before assuming his current position, Markus held the position of Marketing Operations Manager in Customer Service for Siemens Large Drive Cables, Marine/Crane/Motion Control Service, and Partner Manager. His journey at Siemens began in when he entered the graduate program working in the components area. Over the next ten years in Energy Service, he developed his commercial experience and subsequently served as Manager for the Energy Service Supply Chain for three years. He was then appointed as the Commercial Manager in Industry Customer Services for approximately one year before transitioning to a technical role. Throughout his career, Markus has had broad exposure to the development of sales and marketing strategies and managed a range of businesses within Siemens and now Innomotics. Markus holds a Bachelor of Business with majors in International Business, International Trade, and Management from La Trobe University. Outside of his professional life, he is married with three children and enjoys football, building houses, and cooking.
