With over 30 years of experience in the life sciences and medical device industry, I am passionate about developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions that enable scientific breakthroughs and improve health outcomes. As President of abcam, our newest Danaher Operating Company, I have the privilege to lead a team of professionals who influence the pace of scientific discovery in society. We have built a business that brought innovations to the market and, as a result, delivers long-term sustainable and profitable growth. We started with a simple mission: to provide the best biological reagents to life scientists worldwide. Today, we help researchers in over 130 countries deliver faster breakthroughs in areas like cancer, neurological disorders, infectious diseases, and metabolic disorders.Previously, I served as the newly created Chief Customer Officer at Danaher Corporation, where I developed our global customer strategy and engagement across our diverse portfolio of life sciences companies. My mission was to enhance our customer-centric culture that drives innovation, growth, and loyalty and leverage our collective expertise and resources to create value for our customers and stakeholders.Before that, I served as the President and CEO of Leica Microsystems, a Danaher company that develops and manufactures microscopes and scientific instruments to analyze microstructures and nanostructures. In this role, I was responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of the business, as well as the development and execution of product management, marketing, sales, and service initiatives. I also chaired the Danaher Europe Board, collaborating with other leaders to share best practices, optimize synergies, and drive regional growth. I have extensive experience in product management, medical devices, and clinical research, and I enjoy working with talented and diverse teams to solve complex challenges and deliver customer satisfaction.I have had the privilege of working with many fantastic leadership teams globally. I am energized by working with social purpose organizations that strive to do more good in society.
