At EDF Energy I was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects myself and all the accounts projects delivered by other test managers on my team. This was a diverse and interesting environment seeing testing adhering to strict standards and governance that was required for site licencing from the ONR (Office of Nuclear Regulation). During my time at EDF I was actively involved in proof of concept work with the client to introduce an automation testing solution for specific applications. I also managed multiple projects within a desktop optimisation programme which was updating all computers to Windows across all sites on multiple networks with different security requirements.Key Activities and Responsibilities:• Responsible for Test Management activities for multiple projects throughout the projects lifecycle• Creating and maintaining test deliverables• Proactively and independently working to common project goals• Day-to-day Test Management of projects• Understanding and analysing of requirements• Defining detailed Test Strategies and developing Master and Phase Test Plans• Leading and participate in meetings with clear meeting objectives• Keeping stakeholders up-to-date throughout the project• Checking and reviewing of test artefacts• Keeping track of changes in the project and/or requirements and adapting the test approach to effectively cater for these changes and should it be required escalate issues with possible solutions in a timely manner• Work closely with development teams and other required parties throughout the project• Produce detailed and accurate reports on test activities / progress against baseline• Testing estimations• Forecasting and scheduling for multiple resources and work streams• Day-to-day resource and issue managementTechnologies Used: ALM Quality Centre 11.52, SharePoint, Triton Websense
