   MD Labs is a CAP accredited and CLIA certified clinical laboratory performing Toxicology and Pharmacogenetics (PGx) testing for patients and providers throughout the US. MD Labs builds systems and associated informatics integrating LC-MS/MS equipment for quantitative toxicology testing providing some of the lowest validated cutoff levels in the industry for better detection of specific drugs and metabolites.Responsible for the highly automated IT/OT infrastructure, laboratory production systems, and custom computer control systems development. I direct the laboratory process and informatics pipeline, client services and billing customer call center, finance, payroll, human resources and facilities upgrades. I report to the CEO and President.Pharmacogenetics Systems: Manage the design, installation, and performance of automated rtPCR and associated business critical production and information platforms using Agile delivery methods Design and deploy production system data output informatics to define medication guidance for over 90 commonly prescribed medications using unique characteristics of the patients\' DNA to provide medication guidance in clinical treatments Manage the production data outputs achieving desired therapeutic benefits sooner, thus improving patient outcomes by reducing the risk of ineffective medications, adverse side effects, and potentially life-threatening complications. Hire, coach and train the next generation of leaders at MD Labs.ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Setup and tracked an outbound call center that led to a significant increase in receivables. Designed an innovative clinical reporting platform with expected annual savings to exceed 2% of OPEX. Through analytical approaches, identified a regularly occurring billing transaction ‘leak’ that prevented claims from being submitted – saving 1% annually. Restructured the IT platform and infrastructure saving 50% of the annual operational expense.
