ABOUT MARK STAMPER
Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the life and health insurance industry, has held Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary roles, and has worked at local, regional and global levels. He is originally from the UK but was based in Hong Kong from 20••••21, working extensively across the Asia region and also in Europe, the Middle East and US. He has served on the boards of joint venture insurance businesses in China and Turkey, including chairing an audit committee, and is currently on the board (and was previously Chair) of Splash Foundation Ltd, a non-profit organisation that teaches swimming to underprivileged children and adults in Hong Kong.He has managed large teams and has strong analytical, technical and commercial skills, and is known for driving change and challenging accepted norms. Mark is a UK-qualified actuary with an MA in mathematics from the University of Oxford, and has completed the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma.
