I have the privilege of leading the Cloud Platform Services Engineering team in building and maintaining Seismic’s best-in-class cloud-hosted enterprise SaaS content management platform. Leveraging best in class cloud hosting infrastructure and developed with a focus on high availability, robustness, and cloud security, the Seismic platform delivers responsive, reliable, robust, and secure access to a globally distributed client base consisting of demanding and highly security and privacy conscious enterprises. Currently leading the transition to AI-driven PDLC and SDLC, leveraging not just AI adoption, but transformational change in the fundamental approach to product and software development. Led the effort to migrate the SaaS platform\'s core services to a collection of containerized micro-services using widely available and supported technologies on 3 major cloud environments: Azure, AWS, and GCP. Built a globally distributed team of ~100 cloud architects and engineers to ensure that Seismic\'s product is a best-in-class enterprise SaaS solution. As part of a critical strategic initiative, established operational policies, procedures and controls for operational maturity, data privacy, and cloud security that have been certified for SSAE16 SOC2 compliance. This certification is widely recognized in regulated industries as confirmation of engineering and operational excellence. Led the company\'s initiative to become GDPR compliant by driving updates to the product, the data handling policies, and the auditability and traceability of data usage in accordance with authorized data processing grounds. Over the past 7 year period of triple digit growth, we have scaled the platform and our operational proficiency to ensure its reliable and secure operation despite a 10x growth in number of customers, active users, content usage, geographic reach, infrastructure footprint, and new features during that time.
