Mr. Silberfarb has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Financial Planning Institute of Adelphi University, Associate Editor of the New Jersey Will and Trust Manual, one of the founding directors of the New York City Chapter and Current Board Member of the Orange County, California Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, President of the Orange County Estate Planning Council, Chairman Orange County Branch - Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and served for a number of years on the panel of arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association. Called upon to speak about the strategies he has developed and other technical issues, Mark has presented before the Annual Institute on Tax, Estate Planning and the Economy- a collaboration between the UCLA School of Law and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Chairing the Institute, Iranian American Bar Association, New York State CPA Society, Wealth and Tax Advisory Services, American Express Tax and Business Services, Delloite & Touche, Cunard Lines-Queen Elizabeth II, International Convention of the Family Firm Institute, RSM McGladrey, The American Cancer Society & many other venues. His professional designations include Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Trust and Estates Practitioner (TEP), Accredited Estate Planner (AEP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), as well as a Certificate in Executive Development from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
