Deep-thinking engineer with experience in early stage medical device design, on-market medical device development, and on-market medical device production process improvement. Interested primarily in surgical, mechatronic and robotic devices, but open to exploring other areas in medical or mechatronics devices. Looking for an R&D/device development role to continue my growth in design skills and further the goals of the engineering team that I will have the pleasure to work with.Co-inventor on patent # WO20••••••73 for device used in brain surgery studies by Johns Hopkins Hospital clinicians. Eliminated need to outsource mechatronic design of robotic pet feeder at inch, inc. by independently designing force sensing capability through sensing, coding, wiring, and mechanical component design. Critical design thinking ability, demonstrated in increasing process efficiency while minimizing operational costs through improving mechanical design of production fixture at Abbott.
