Auden was a scale-up FinTech, operating in the short-term credit sector. With a distinct emphasis on responsible finance, Auden utilized cloud technology, big data, and machine learning to assist individuals underserved by traditional high street lenders. As a member of the senior leadership team reporting to the CTO, I spearheaded the design of a new system architecture, modernising the technology platform, optimising the agile operating model, and enhancing the cultural dynamics across the workforce. Achieved by: • Designing a cloud native architecture to support a business turnaround (as part of an investment cycle), employing Domain Driven Design, Design-by-Contract and an Event-Driven architectures built utilising microservices in AWS to simplify and modernise the hybrid cloud estate. • Launching an architecture runway (Scaled Agile for Enterprise - SAFe) to feed the Program Increment planning (PI). • Guiding the technology improvement work stream which reduced IT costs by £375k in 6 months.
