The City CDR Initiative is a non-profit effort to embed carbon removal in city planning globally and mobilize innovation and growth capital for local ecosystems. It will empower cities to realize existing priorities by identifying urban CDR opportunities and designing policies that maximize synergies across adaptation and resilience, energy transition and public health, while boosting jobs, social equity, innovation and local municipal revenue.Supporting partners include C40 Cities, Global Covenant of Mayors, RMI, Carbon180, Carbon Gap, Bellona, Carbon Removal Standards Initiative, Carbon Removal India Alliance, Carbon Removal Canada, XPRIZE, South Pole, Global Carbon Removal Partnership
