Recruited to lead Shop transformation from mid-size structural and miscellaneous fabricator to World Class Manufacturer of Fabricated Steel products. Transformation to include performance culture, accountability, internal re-organization. Grow manufacturing to 80% of Sales from 20% simultaneous to construction growth of 20%. Actions: restructured shop management, trained and cross trained. Re-organized shop workflows. Implemented new data collection and CI system, KPIs, TOC, RCA, Pareto analysis. Results: dramatically improved S,Q,D,C and P. Q from 75% to Six Sigma, D (OTD) from 25% to 93%. Improved labor efficiency by 30%. Requested and assumed leadership of Logistics and Procurement. Successfully launched largest, more complex project in Corporate history, with resultant add-on orders of 3X original. Achieved new records in weight, quantities of assemblies, complexity, speed, Q and D. CI on-going in all DOM departments.
