Chair of Board of Trustees. Groundwater Relief provides technical support and data to humanitarian and government organisations in order to provide clean water and sustainable management of groundwater resources. Working with over 550 expert members globally who volunteer their time, the core team of staff deliver projects in a range of low and middle-income countries.

ABOUT MARK ROSLING

I am retired and focused on charity roles but am open to Non-Executive Director positions. I am Chair of Groundwater Relief, an international charity providing groundwater expertise to organisations responsible for water provision in low and middle-income countries.I am also a trustee (Treasurer) at The Vine Centre, a charity providing services to the most disadvantaged members of a local community.I had a successful international career with BP plc for 34 years and then did consultancy work for both service station and electric vehicle (EV) charging development globally for eight years. With BP I was based in the Netherlands (2 years), China (3 years), South Africa (4 years), Australia (3 years), Saudi Arabia (1 year) and UAE (1 year). I have led businesses, set up and worked in joint ventures and had various business and voluntary sector board membership and chair roles. I am an expert on all aspects of service stations: new markets, acquisition, leasing, business development, operation, channel management, maintenance, marketing, franchising, disposal and electric vehicle charging. I have also led efficiency programmes, organisational restructuring, new ways of working, change management and dealing with Works Councils and employee forums. I was Chair of Governors at a special needs school for seven years which is rated \"Outstanding\" by Ofsted (national schools inspectorate) and led the school\'s conversion to academy status. I was also a Trustee and Vice Chair of a growing Multi Academy Trust, which the school helped create, which now comprises 13 schools.
