Sheffield, GB

I lead a multidisciplinary team covering user experience & accessibility, full‑stack development, test automation, and Salesforce. My role is less about the tools themselves and more about making technology work for people - ensuring our systems and products serve the mission of digital inclusion.I set and deliver the organisation\'s technology strategy, with responsibility for the charity’s technology estate that underpins the National Databank, Device Bank, and Learn My Way. Alongside this, I manage strategic suppliers and hold primary responsibility for the technology budget.Earlier in my career here, I introduced workload planning, agile practices, problem and incident management, and roadmap visibility - creating the foundations for a more transparent and resilient technology function. In 2024, I was proud to receive the Bright Sparks Award, recognising the impact I’d had on both the technology team and the wider organisation. At the heart of my leadership is trust and clarity: I empower my team to deliver, demystify complexity for stakeholders, and keep people - not systems - at the centre of every decision.
