I\'m a proven operations leader who has run the ops gamut from the front lines of monitoring and incident management to ITSM and observability/Operational Intelligence to tools management and development, to infrastructure, service design and architecture, always with an eye to security and compliance.I am a team-first, principles first leader and contributor who believes in doing things \"the right way\" and I am an adherent to the philosophy of \"strong opinions loosely held;\" always looking to learn more and grow. Among my recent accomplishments, I led a small globally distributed team taking a legacy commerce platform to Azure by re-architecting the infrastructure layer. No code changes were required, no down time was incurred, our defense in depth improved significantly, and our PCI audit went smoother than ever.

   As Senior Operations Manager, I both managed a front lines team and advised as a senior operations engineer- I collaborated across technical leadership on architecture, infrastructure, networking, observability, and service operations- I was a consistent company leader in security, giving multiple talks on defense in depth- I was a passionate voice for resiliency, which became the engineering word of the year from our CTO for 2023- I built up the front lines to be a global 16*5 support organization, eventually inheriting the tech support function- I established a documentation standard and coordinated a training program resulting in many dozens of operational docs and a vast library of video trainings- I was queued up to take over SRE and Infrastructure functions at the time of departure
