ABOUT MARK PURCELL
I have a unique blend of electronic security integration and HVAC experience and expertise. I have 15+ years experience in the HVAC industry working with and selling through manufacturers’ representatives and wholesale distribution. I was the Manager-Wholesale Marketing for Alco Controls/Emerson Electric, VP Sales & Marketing for Danfoss Automatic Controls, Lau Industries, Flow Design and Composite Cooling Solutions. In addition, I have been the Western Operation Manager for United Refrigeration and had full P&L responsibility for 15 branch locations in the southwest. As the Vice President of the Components Business Unit for Danfoss Controls, I had P&L responsibility for a $28M, 90 employee manufacturing facility. I have working knowledge of compressors, condensing units, HVAC equipment, PVF, refrigerant, and refrigerant/hydronic flow controls etc. In addition, I have 15+ years of experience in the electronic security integration as the VP/General Manager of MCA/Knight Security Systems, the General Manager for Protection One for 5 years in the TX/OK market where our Team earned me the GM of the Year award for our growth in the commercial and industrial vertical markets. Prior to that I was the VP Sales & Marketing for VAR Kastle Systems.I pride myself on being able to develop high performing operational Teams through recruiting, hiring, training, and ongoing leadership. I enjoy being out in the field, listening to the VOC, building relationships and supporting the local sales individuals and Representatives in the customer’s place of business.
