ABOUT MARK PULLEN
I’m a nice guy. Most people that know me, will likely tell you that. I’m more Mike Ross than Harvey Specter, but without the photographic memory and fake law degree! I’ve always favored relationships that deliver value to both parties. I think that’s the primary reason I’ve excelled in sponsorships which tend to deliver the greatest benefits to those with vision, commitment, and authenticity.I spent 15 years learning, building, leading and executing with one of the first and best, dedicated sponsorship agencies in Canada, S&E Sponsorship Group who are now part of the multi-national Dentsu Aegis Network. I’ve collaborated developing strategic positioning for some of Canada’s largest, Tier 1 brands like Scotiabank, Canadian Tire, and SportChek by creating connections with their consumers in unique and memorable ways.Currently, I’m consulting with community sports organizations on how to better leverage sponsorships allowing them to enhance their revenues and grow the positive impact they provide in their communities.Great sponsorships to me are the fantastic script that makes a movie special, providing a compelling narrative that compels the viewer to be engaged. I think that’s cool! When I’m not working, I’m probably either teaching (Sponsorship, baseball, digital security) or learning something (Web design, coaching/mentoring, productivity techniques, great documentaries). Beyond that, I play with my kids every chance I get. I never miss a Raptors game. I’m always open to checking out an original TV series or Movie, and I’m currently relishing Fallout 4.Capabilities (You know, just in case!)• Strategy ideation, development & analysis• Client relationship building & servicing• Team building & mentoring• Consumer activation & engagement• Negotiations & contract management• Presentation development• Valuations • Inventory development• Process improvement• Brand positioning• Budget management
