His work centers on helping owners, developers, and operators create value through disciplined underwriting, thoughtful site selection, and execution-focused dealmaking.Prior to launching his current platform, Mark spent several years at MetCap Commercial, where he was involved from the firm’s early days and played a role in its growth across the Carolinas. Before transitioning full-time into commercial real estate, Mark spent four years at Balentine, a registered investment advisor managing over $5 billion in assets. There, he worked closely with entrepreneurs and business owners navigating liquidity events and growth transitions, and helped scale the Raleigh office from approximately $300 million to over $1 billion in assets in under four years.Mark’s background in both real estate and financial markets allows him to approach deals from an owner’s perspective. He advises clients across retail leasing, redevelopment, land strategy, and site selection, with a focus on North Carolina and the broader Southeast.
