ABOUT MARKO DOGRAMADZI
At Additive Catchments, we are building the civic infrastructure society needs to restore river health. As a mission-led company majority-owned by a non-profit, we provide independent data, transparent insights, and actionable intelligence to rebuild public trust and enable better, collective water governance. Through our Catchment Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS®) platform, we integrate IoT sensors, AI-driven analytics, earth observation, and low-code tools into an open, scalable system, giving industry, government, organisations and the public, the power to act, together. Through our work we: provide CMaaS, run the River Health Perception Index (RHPI), deliver Continuous Water Quality Monitoring (CWQM), and build open and holistic data infrastructure with our partners. We are here to give rivers a voice, restore public trust, and build a future where rivers, communities, and society thrive.I am passionate about developing web and mobile applications, through leading teams to deliver innovative digital products. At Mendix, I’ve had the opportunity to build a diverse range of applications across industries including government, banking, manufacturing, and emergency services. My role involves coordinating high-performing teams of developers, designers, and technical experts to deliver robust, user-centric applications. I hold a First-Class Honours MSc in Computer Science and Electronics from the University of Bristol. During my degree I was sponsored by Siemens through the E3 Academy, where I completed three summer placements.During my time at university, I led two significant projects: the development of ParkUs, a mobile app for finding street parking, where I created a patented map-matching algorithm for Toshiba Research Lab, and a voice-controlled remote control for a home automation system designed to operate without internet connectivity. While at university, I was sponsored by Siemens through the E3 academy, which involved attending internships during the summer, as well as networking events with other E3 academy companies.After university, I joined Siemens Digital Industries\' graduate scheme, focusing on industrial cloud technology and software development. I took on a lead role in an InnovateUK project, integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into rice-milling machinery. This role enabled me to blend technical expertise with strategic project management.In addition to my professional work, I have undertaken numerous personal projects, primarily focused on mobile app development, in order to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
