I\'m responsible for running debate activities for the Houston Urban Debate League (HUDL) which is a partnership between HISD and the non-profit HUDL. This includes all aspects of running weekend debate tournaments, debate seminars, and the annual HUDL Summer Debate Institute. I also work directly with schools spending time with teachers and students. Most weeks I give a number of debate related lectures to various schools, meet with principals, or develop learning materials for use in the classroom. As an employee of HISD\'s UIL Department, I also assist with UIL activities such as spelling bees, academic tournaments, history fairs, etc.
