As a Transition Specialist, I have worked with individuals from several branches of the military and many Military Occupational Specialists (MOS). I have assisted my clients to get employed with a variety of companies. As a defense Support Contractor for over 11 years I supporting Army programs including the Soldier For Life – Transition Assistance Program Office. I am an experienced instructor and training facilitator. I have instructed classes and seminars, workshops demonstrating, and using various methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information effectively to diverse demographic groups. Employ adaptable teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs.Over 6 years of career services experience writing reverse-chronological, functional, infographic, and online résumés. Helping to find YOU a job is my #1 PASSION! I enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals in order to assist them gaining a satisfying career. The majority of my career advising experience is in coaching, job searching, résumé writing, mock interviewing, and career management. I always try to provide my clients with WAY more than a résumé. I provide extra support by troubleshooting the job search process with clients for ultimate career success. I believe in killing the client with ‘tough love’, listening to their concerns, and solving the problem while practicing mindfulness.

We take the veteran transition time and cut it in half, from 26 weeks to 13 weeks.• Develop and tailor résumés, execute job search strategies, and coach effective network strategies while establishing a strong personal brand.• Instruct and assist veterans during transition workshops by providing detailed résumé revisions, job search assistance, interview skills training, transition services classes, and LinkedIn optimizations.• Conduct detailed veteran intakes and assessments by phone, email, or in person per week; assisted in the development and revision of veteran résumés.• Develop and execute job search strategies for veterans with 100% efficiency while identifying veteran shortfalls; trained the veteran accordingly while providing follow up for any additional assistance daily.• Exceed the established benchmarks set by leadership in number of résumés written, counseling sessions, initial assessments conducted, and veterans hired per week.• Manage contacts through Salesforce which is used to conduct assessments, track pertinent information, send emails, save personal branding documents and create a comprehensive candidate profile.• Present career initiatives and guidance through public speaking presentations/workshops.
